ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Founded by SAOIRSE, ESMERAY is an independent fashion label rooted in heritage, individuality, and the beauty of duality. Born during a lunar eclipse, Saoirse was originally intended to be named Esmeray, a name of Turkish origin associated with the dark moon. What began as a deeply personal connection to her ancestry would later become the identity of her creative world.

With a background in fashion and an instinctive approach to design, Saoirse explores the delicate tension between opposing forces: light and darkness, romance and rebellion, tradition and reinvention. Her creative vision is guided by an appreciation for the unconventional, finding beauty in unexpected forms, textures, and the transformation of familiar materials. Each creation is an exploration of identity, embracing the freedom to exist beyond the boundaries of a singular aesthetic.

ESMERAY is an extension of SAOIRSE: a study in contrasts, an homage to heritage, and an ever-evolving expression of personal freedom.
